Nov. 1975 Collision

In the night of Nov. 22, 1975, USS Belknap CG26 was plane guard for USS JF Kennedy CV67, when the most serious of accidents at sea occurred.

Collision and catastrophic fire at sea!Through the heroic response of her brave crew and with the assistance of USS Ricketts, USS Bordelon, USS Dale and others, she was saved to serve again.
